This Is What We Do
Love, Peace & Spades™ produces game night experiences, educational programming, competitive play, and community gatherings—all rooted in the preservation of Black family traditions.
Every experience is designed with the same intention: to create spaces where the right people are in the right room, doing something that matters.
We meet people where they are. Whether you've never held a hand of Spades or you're ready to compete for the title, there's always room for one more.
Our Experiences
-
Our curriculum-based, coach-led educational program—teaching Spades, Bid Whist, Tunk, and Dominoes as Black family heirlooms.
Available as a monthly residency at Our House in South Los Angeles and as a virtual program through The Strategic Play Lab. -
A quarterly panel discussion and game night at The Narrative LA.
Each edition opens with an honest conversation about a topic the community needs to sit with—then we decompress the only way we know how—through play.
Hosted by Kevito Clark.
-
Our pop-up activation series—bringing open play, Spades Academy™ lessons, ranked tournament play, and curated food and beverage to communities, collaborators, and cultural spaces across Los Angeles and beyond.
-
Competitive Spades tournament play with a three-stage format, season standings, and prizes from local Black-owned businesses.
This is LP&S at its most competitive—rooted in the same spirit of community that built the game.
