It's a love letter to the game—structured, serious, and rooted in the same spirit that built it. Ranked Tournament Play brings competitive energy to the table without losing what makes Love, Peace & Spades™ what it is: community first, camaraderie always.
Each tournament runs a three-stage format—an Open Qualifier, a Cut Qualifier, and a Championship Finals—with up to 16 teams competing in timed 30-minute matches, first to 350 points. Standings are tracked individually across the season, so every event counts toward something bigger.
Winners take home prizes from local Black-owned businesses and the only thing that matters more—the title of the #1 Spades team in Los Angeles.
