Who We Are
Love, Peace & Spades™ is a Black-led cultural organization based in South Los Angeles. We produce game night experiences, educational programming, and community gatherings that preserve Black family traditions—the games, the rituals, and the table talk that have held us together across generations.
We are not just a game night. We are a modern-day hush harbor—a protected space created by and for Black people to gather, play, learn, and connect.
What We Do
Our programming spans game night experiences, competitive tournament play, panel discussions, dinner series, educational workshops, and community pop-up activations. Everything we produce is rooted in the same conviction: that play is a health and wellness tool, that Black family heirloom games deserve to be preserved, and that everyone deserves access to a table that feels like home.
Who We Are Built For
Love, Peace & Spades™ is for creatives, professionals, educators, elders, youth, and anyone who believes that the people across the table matter as much as the game being played.
Our Structure
Love, Peace & Spades™ is produced by SUBJECT TO CHANGE LLC, a Los Angeles-based creative company. It operates in partnership with Love, Peace & Games: Play It Forward, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which advances play as cultural preservation and public learning through curriculum, research, and facilitated programming.
